HR policy

General statement
The Applus RTD Group is an international company, operating in all continents. We are a market-driven and technology based company, serving our customers throughout the world with high quality standards, modern and proven techniques and professional employees.
Our ambition is to be the world’s reference in NDT & Inspection and Integrity Management, therefore the first choice of customers and employees.
Our employees are the most important resource in realizing our ambition. Therefore, Human Resources Management (HRM) is an integral part of our business strategy and an important line responsibility. The HR policy supports the worldwide organization in reaching its objectives.

Applus RTD fosters entrepreneurship, leadership, flexibility, personal development and learning capabilities. We aim for our employees to be professionals whose entrepreneurial behaviour is success and growth oriented, and guided by personal integrity and know-how.

Implementation
The above mentioned ambition and view, result in the following guidelines with regard to the most common HRM issues. These guidelines are implemented through local policies and practices in the different Business Units. Applus RTD complies with all local legislation in the countries that we work.

HR Development
Applus RTD HR Development policy is based on the view that continuing personal growth of our employees is essential for the success of the organization and of the employee. It contributes to a flexible organization in which all positions are staffed by capable, accountable and committed employees and where continuing organizational growth and development is initiated.

Competence Management System
In order to support and guide employee development we aim to work with a global Competence Management System which supports the management of skills, knowledge and experience. International employee exchange programmes are based upon this competence system.

Management Development Program
In order to support the organization in reaching our strategic objectives, a Management Development Program is in place which helps us with succession planning, managing and employing our organizational growth and attracting, developing and keeping talent within our organization

Recruitment and promotion
Our employees are recruited, selected and promoted on the basis of objective, non-discriminatory criteria. We aim for a high degree of promotion from within, taking into account the fulfilling of job requirements, the required competence profile and the individual ambition.

In our search for new employees we look for people with a professional attitude, a desire to learn and develop, quality minded and flexible. Applus RTD strives to recognize talents and invests in knowledge and skill based education in order to support an employee and consequently the organization’s success.

Education and Training
Education and training provides our employees with the knowledge, skills and attitude to be successful and therefore Training and Education is an important part of our HRM policy.
Applus RTD aims to further develop our training and educational facilities in compliance with competence based development program.

Leadership
Applus RTD believes that in order for its employees to be successful, fair, committed and honest leadership is necessary. This offers our employees goals and guidelines and a possibility to reflect on his or her own position within the organization. Good leadership building team spirit throughout the organisation, results in enjoying to work with each other as well as the will to succeed together.
Applus RTD therefore aims at establishing and further developing a common leadership practice.

Compensation & Benefits
Applus RTD policy with regard to compensation & benefits is based on market competiveness and on the view that diversity in remuneration packages should match individual needs and local practice in order to contribute to the motivation of our employees and appeal of Applus RTD. We stimulate common remuneration practices in the organization with performance driven objectives.
