Applus RTD has a pioneering role in the technological development of existing and new NDT and Inspection methodologies. The company has had its own Research & Development department since the 1950 which constantly aims at the development of new NDT techniques for specific market areas. Furthermore, Applus RTD strives towards the most effective application possible of its advanced NDT techniques. Every bespoke solution or technical innovation must ultimately result in downtime reduction or costs savings for our clients. The test results must also be adequate for the certification methodology which is applied.

The Applus RTD's employees are intensively trained and are qualified to the level of certification competence. Applus RTD also organizes training for third parties in the area of non-destructive testing and ionizing radiation.

Applus RTD is well informed with regard to local laws and regulations thanks to many years of experience with international clients and a strong country organization.
