Standard of business conduct

Integrity is the basis of all business within the Applus RTD Group and is the core value of our activities. The aim of the code of ethics and conduct for the employees is to establish the corporate policies applicable to all the business settings and transactions of Applus RTD, so as to facilitate our daily business dealings.

All Applus RTD employees are required to comply with the procedures and standards set out in this code, regardless of their geographical location and whatever the specific operational sector of the companies within the Applus RTD Group may be. Such procedures also apply to all our partners, agents, middlemen, consultants and subcontractors.

It is the responsibility of each and every one of us to make this code respectable and to enforce it, regardless of our position or role in the organization. No deviation shall be accepted and no sanctions shall be imposed to any employee reporting any dubious, illicit conduct or action violating the corporate code.

Our corporate code of ethics and conduct is intended to clarify the values and standards of our company thanks to the following principles:

  1. Perform our activities while respecting basic rights and human dignity, and while promoting compliance with the applicable governmental laws, rules and regulations currently in force in the countries we operate.
  2. Exercise honesty in all dealings and transactions within the organization, taking good faith and openness as our governing principles.
  3. Properly protect and make proper use of the Company's assets and facilities without using any Company's property for a personal gain.
  4. Carry out the provision of quality services to meet our customers' needs, while preserving the fundamental values of integrity and honesty in our relations with suppliers and acting openly before our shareholders.
  5. Develop the code based on legal requirements in all our business transactions and operations, while avoiding any commercial or financial activity which might reflect adversely on the aims of the code.
  6. Make use of our common sense while conducting our daily business dealings. Applus RTD employees are also expected to consult with a superior if they are ever confronted with any situation that reasonably could give rise to an actual or apparent conflict of interest with this code.
